That's faster than most supercars and comparable to the G-forces experienced by real Formula One drivers during acceleration.

The track stretches 2.2 kilometres through banked turns, drops, and camelback hills, all set against the sweeping landscape of Yas Island. Riders are required to wear protective goggles due to the extreme speed, and the sensation of wind pressure at 240 km/h is genuinely unlike any other theme park experience in the world.

The ride features a linear induction motor launch that propels a two-person vehicle vertically upward through a transparent glass tunnel that protrudes from the park's iconic red roof, giving riders a brief but spectacular view of the Yas Island landscape before the vehicle is pulled back down through the same tunnel in reverse.

The entire experience lasts only a matter of seconds, but the sensation of acceleration, the moment of weightlessness at the apex, and the dramatic view make it one of the most talked-about rides in the park. Height & Health Requirements

Most major thrill rides at Ferrari Park require a minimum height of 130–140 cm. Riders with the following conditions are generally advised not to participate in high-intensity attractions: heart conditions, high blood pressure, back or neck injuries, pregnancy, recent surgery, or severe motion sickness. Always consult ride-specific signage at each attraction's entrance for current requirements.

What to Wear

Closed-toe shoes are required for all thrill rides. Loose items including bags, hats, glasses, and jewellery must be secured in provided lockers before boarding. For Formula Rossa specifically, protective goggles are mandatory and provided at the ride entrance free of charge.

Queue Management Tips

Weekdays are consistently less crowded than weekends. The quietest periods are typically during lunch hours (1 PM–2:30 PM) and in the final hour before park closing. If visiting on a weekend, arrive at park opening without exception. The park occasionally offers an express queue option — ask at guest services for current availability.
